ABOUT US
J-AID JAPAN and J-AID USA both derived from J-AID 2011, which was organized by volunteers who wanted to aid in the Japanese recovery efforts following the East Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami of March 11th, 2011.
J-AID 2011 raised funds mainly by hosting a charity concert in Chicago. All funds raised were donated to the American Red Cross, Japan Red Cross, and other accounts suggested by local authorities in disaster areas.
The main projects of J-AID JAPAN and J-AID USA are restoring the environmnet destroyed by the earthquake, tsunami, and radioactice decontamination, providing financial aid to orphans and children stricken by the disaster, and efforts to promote economic support and generate employment for the victims and their families.
J-AID JAPAN makes actual relief efforts in disaster areas in Japan, and J-AID USA makes back up efforts in the US.
OUR MISSION
Our missions are to “make a land of the reconstruction “(restoring the environment destroyed by earthquake, tsunami, and radioactive contamination,) to “protect the people for the reconstruction” (promoting financial support and employment for the victims,) and to “grow the people for the future” (earthquake orphans fund.)
Our dream is to “create a land which would inspire the lost lives of the earthquake to be born again.”
